Tips & Things to Watch For
Software License is Revocable at Any Time
CriticalSection 3.1 explicitly states your license to use Zoom software is 'revocable in Zoom's sole discretion'. They can revoke your access even during a paid subscription term without necessarily providing a refund.
Account Suspension Can Occur Without Refund
CriticalSection 4.4 states Zoom may investigate complaints and take action including 'suspending or disconnecting the Services' in their sole discretion. This could result in losing access to paid services without refund if they deem a TOS violation occurred.
Retention Offers Potentially Available When Canceling
Pro TipSince cancellation requires contacting sales (based on difficult-to-find cancellation process), there may be retention offers like discounted rates or free months if you speak with sales about canceling. However, this isn't documented.
AI Companion Available Free with Eligible Paid Plans
Pro TipThe homepage mentions AI Companion is included at no extra cost with eligible paid Zoom Workplace plans. This is a significant feature included free that competitors charge extra for. Make sure you're on an eligible plan to access this.
